Welcome to George Glover's Coolness site, a place dedicated to the art of applying graphic design to a medium that projects light pixels to an assorted array of screen canvases.

So with all this light, where doe's coolness fit in?

GG - coolness is referring to the coolness of color and web design. Of course without light the coolness of color would not exist. Concerning the coolness of web design, let's say these topics may be the next generation of web design and development including a few "web 2.0" design elements.

So just what does "coolness" mean? Yes coolness is a real word defined by a few online dictionaries. The urban dictionary on the other hand treats coolness as a slang word and has a number of different definitions as posted by its visitors.

It's easy to see how the word cool could have many definitions as it can apply to so many different situations. For instance over on gg-52nd St you can find on one corner a group of cat's blowin some hot house be-bop. While on the other corner a group of cool-headed musicians playing cool jazz.

Here on GG - coolness, the cool colors used on this site contribute to its comfortable and relaxed environment resulting in a lower heartbeat. On the development side, using CSS in the code eliminated the need for font and table tags plus tons of mouse over JAVA script resulting in less code for the pages to render, creating a faster loading and very cool web site.

Adding "ness" to the word cool makes cool even cooler. Coolness, a "slang" word where you can create a definition that's personal to you. If you ever get overcome with a feeling of coolness while being creative, you better watch out as you just may be on to something.
